Continuing the Field Trips...
Gebroeders Winter in Amsterdam! This particular location was far more interesting than the website suggested it would be...
There is quite a variety of goods in this store, including some hard to find fountain pen models and some very good sales! (I may or may not have taken advantage of some of these.)

| Yep, that's a 75th anniversary Montblanc... it's a little scary that they're up to 90 now! |
 |
| Possibly the coolest stand ever. |
 |
| Some serious Dialogs. |
 |
| Fun stuff! |
I would have spent all day in there!
ReplyDeleteI will ignore the Pelikans, I will ignore the Pelikans. I am strong. I will ignore. *hides in a closet*
ReplyDeleteI have to investigate MB inks - a scented seasonal ink?! I wonder if it smelled like gingerbread - yum.
ReplyDeleteWhoa. . . thanks for the pen porn. That is some shop! I need a cold shower.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this. Visiting Amsterdam the end of the month and was hoping to get out to Tillburg to visit La Couronne de Comte, but it looks as though that might not happen now
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a good substitute, which branch is this ? Looking at their website it looks as though they have a few branches spread over Amsterdam. Amazingly looks as though we're staying a few doors down from the Lijnbaansgracht branch in the Jordaan
The Parker discount on the Duofold was decent. That is still a classic under talked about and an excellent all round cartridge/converter pen. Thanks for the pictures.
ReplyDeleteYes, which branch of the store - the one closest to the inner canal rings ?
ReplyDeleteI emailed Azzizah - it's the branch on 5 Beethovenstraat, outside the centre.
