CONS
  • Messy to open the bottle with the foil seal.
  • So saturated that if you get it into the threads, it can crust up and cause leakage.
  • A little tough to clean from certain pens.
  • I don't like the scent.

OVERALL

Another really nice color from the Blackstone scented series - this time a warm, golden brown with lovely shading. Like the others, this one has been a pain. Messy to open, messy around the mouth when the ink crusts, and I don't like the scent. Fabulous color. I'd love to see this unscented and with a bottle that cooperates a bit more.

Read About Phidon Pens in Pen World Magazine!

I have shared a Field Trip to Phidon Pens in Cambridge, Ontario in the past but I was recently able to write a little article about them in Pen World magazine!

What kinds of articles would you like to see in Pen World magazine? Please let me know because the magazine is for you, so I'm sure the feedback would be much appreciated.

If you'd like to check out the article, please take a look below, but you can also order a copy or subscribe on the Pen World website! It is an analog tool, after all, so the joy of petting and smelling the pages of a sweet new magazine is pretty enticing. You can also follow Pen World on Instagram and Facebook.
