I do agree though. I really like the DXs but they really need to ramp up the color selection and the vibrancy of the ink. Sigh. I can only imagine DXs with some awesome Slicci ink. It would be so cool.GourmetPenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16364756460697132074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484890041572022255.post-64329041647745115062011-10-28T23:32:16.388-04:002011-10-28T23:32:16.388-04:00I really liked the vividness and readability of th...I really liked the vividness and readability of the various Slicci inks I tried (Sky Blue, Pink, Burnt Orange, Purple, Green, etc.), but unfortunately I had problems with the ink fading pretty quickly when exposed to air and light. Things that stayed in my notebooks were generally fine, but anything that I posted on a wall or kept on a table were almost unreadable within a few months. I mostly switched to Signo DXs, which have slightly inferior line consistency and slightly less interesting colors (in general, with a few exceptions), but far better longevity when exposed to air, water, and sunlight. However, there are still times when I reach for a Slicci.Robert M.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484890041572022255.post-48485965917077659862011-10-26T18:55:43.521-04:002011-10-26T18:55:43.521-04:00Oh I tried so hard to salvage the refill. I just gave up at the end because the sharp corners of the tip (what was left of it) kept literally scratching the paper (and this was regular paper, no multilayer premium). That was the fate of my first Signo DX.Shangchinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03258320539565555245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484890041572022255.post-71099366756818745922011-10-26T16:06:28.704-04:002011-10-26T16:06:28.704-04:00:) It was my pleasure! Could you even use it after dislodging the rollerball?GourmetPenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16364756460697132074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484890041572022255.post-50588217281256236782011-10-26T11:36:38.277-04:002011-10-26T11:36:38.277-04:00You are absolutely adorable! and I am sorry that ...You are absolutely adorable! and I am sorry that I made you do more work. That is good information to know. I remembered tearing many sheets of regular paper when I used to use .28mm Uniball Signo DX. I even dislodged the rollerball from the refill (total user error on my part).Shangchinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03258320539565555245noreply@blogger.com
