This is an interesting blue ink (with maybe a touch of purple to it?) ink! I love Iroshizuku inks because they are well-behaved and are easy to clean. Give it a shot!

  1. This looks very similar to Asa Gao. How does it compare? In what way is it different?

  2. They are similar, yeah. I think the Asa Gao is more intense/vibrant than this one is. Asa Gao definitely has a sheen, if you like that in an ink.

Interesting, it looks straight blue to me on paper, no purple at all!

  4. I could be nuts. I think I drew this conclusion also from comparing it to Asa Gao a bit. I could also have weird color perception lol

  5. It is more purple than blue; it's the same color that the ink was in the old pricing guns at grocery retail in the 70's
