PROS
  • Beautiful color!
  • Great, fun bottle.
  • Incredible, very lovely shading.
  • Well-behaved.
CONS
  • Quite saturated, a touch dry.
  • Not water resistant.
OVERALL

One of my favorite colors, because it's kind of weird and hard to identify. Is it red? Is it pink? Well, it's not a TRUE red, but it's not totally pink either. A nice in between, and it's gorgeous. Loves.

That's pretty - I don't normally go for pinkish inks but this one is interesting

I like it. (I think I will include this colour next time I'll buy some Akkerman ink's.)

It's just red enough to not be horrendously pink, I think!

I hope you'll like it! I think it's a nice in between from Chinatown Red and the Pulchri Pink (which is totally blinding pink lol)

It's a nice colour. I normally go for earth colours - greens, greys, browns, sepias - but I might give this a try. I was also impressed with the MB violet purple review on The Pen Habit. And have you ever tried Levenger inks? They are bold and saturated colours that might appeal to you

This is so - wow - gorgeous! Too bad it's hard to get here in the US.

I got the China town red from Akkerman. And the Groenemarkt smaragd. (I already had the Shocking blue). The groenemarkt smaragd is very nice. Almost an olive drab kind of green .

Thanks for your work! I love the calligraphy thing and the droplets of ink. It makes your reviews very recognisable. That's a gorgeous ink too! But unfortunately difficult to get a hold of.. Do you know of a good Diamine alternative? Thanks in advance!
