Ink Shot Review: @Papier_Plume Sazerac @cohobbyist

Thanks to Eric at Cohobbyist for sending this bottle of Papier Plume for a review! Thus far, it's the first and only Papier Plume ink I have ever used.
The Sazerac is a local New Orleans variation of a cognac or whiskey cocktail, named for the Sazerac de Forge et Fils brand of cognac brandy that served as its original main ingredient. The drink is most traditionally a combination of cognac or rye whiskey, absinthe, Peychaud's Bitters, and sugar, although bourbon whiskey or Herbsaint are sometimes substituted. - Wikipedia

CONS
  • Not saturated enough to offer the amount of shading I like.
OVERALL

I have seen other colors from Papier Plume that appeal to me more than Sazerac. Although I love yellows and oranges, this one was just not saturated enough for me. I like oranges and yellows that pop off the page and are wild with shading. I like the origins of the ink, the name, the label, and the packaging. If the drink or history appeals to you, you could do worse than invest in a $12 bottle of ink! It's cute, so if the color is for you, go for it.

I received this item free of charge for the purposes of this review. I was not compensated monetarily for my review. Everything you've read here is my own opinion.
