Sunday Reads - November 3. 2013

• Nanaimo bars. Sweet baby grapes I want to eat these. Also pumpkin pound cake with chocolate ganache. I never make this stuff, FYI. I just drool over the pictures and the idea of eating it.... Also flourless peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Which sound strangely delicious.

• Hilarious high-speed photographs of dogs shaking themselves off. 
• Danitrio and Fook Hing Trading have teamed up to produce this super cute maki-e hummingbird fountain pen. I love hummingbirds. Plus it's bound to be a great pen.

Fountain Pen Day 2013

It's HERE! Second Annual Fountain Pen Day 2013!! I hope you are all celebrating by buying pens, sharing pens, inking pens up, drinking ink, smearing ink on yourselves or on others, and/or any other behaviours that involve fountain pens, inks, papers, and nefarious acts.

Because, after all, today is about celebrating and promoting the use of fountain pens. But we won't judge how you choose to do that.
