PROS

• Affordable.
• A "reasonable" amount of ink if you enjoy using different colors.
• Interesting color that seems quite unique.
• Great shading.
• Intense sheen.

CONS

• This ink was pretty solid. Even with the sheen, it flowed well and did not dry out too easily.

OVERALL

Fair price and a strange but quite attractive brown. It is on the warm side and I found it quite well-behaved. Not many issues in the way of drying time or smudging, and it still shows a fair amount of shading. I think a pink sheen would have been extra cool.

PROS

• Affordable.
• A "reasonable" amount of ink if you enjoy using different colors.
• This one reminds me a lot of Lamy Vibrant Pink but without the particles in it (and not a special edition that will disappear forever). 
• Great shading.
• Some sheen but it suits the ink well.

CONS

• Careful with cleaning - the red/pink color may stain. 

OVERALL

Fair price. I'm happy and surprised to see how similar this ink color is to Lamy Vibrant Pink. The Lamy is a special edition and will disappear at some point, and it also has some particles that not everyone enjoys. Myrtle offers you that color, shading, and sheen without the particles. The pink can stain porous items so just watch your cleaning.

• Shows some water resistance!
• Very work appropriate.
• Fairly easy to clean, especially when compared to the other intense sheening inks from Krishna.

CONS

• None, really. This ink is quite decent.

OVERALL

Fair price, very work-appropriate color. The name of the ink is also quite fun. I found the ink to shade quite well and it had low sheen so it was pretty easy to work with and clean up. It also has quite a bit of water resistance, so it's really great for the work world!

PROS

• I love this vibrant, intense blue!
• Great shading.
• Intense sheen.

CONS

• If you use this in a very wet pen, it can take a long time to dry. Even then, it may be smudgy. 
• Careful with cleaning - the intense color may stain. 

OVERALL

Fair price, another stunning color. This vibrant, rich blue is intense and still manages to show some shading. If you use it with wet writers, it's even more fun because of the seriously wicked sheen on it. This one is really fun for hand lettering and calligraphy work (not that I'm any good, but it's fun).

As with Jungle Volcano and Anokhi, I did have some issues with drying. With regular writing, the drying times were acceptable but with inky messes/splats/artwork, the sheen remained smudgy. Most people would probably not use an ink in that way but I'm just putting that warning out there. I found it a little messy for cleaning because it is quite saturated. I didn't stain the sink or granite, at least. Quite a fun color to play with! As with most inks, it looks best with wetter, broader writers.
