Massdrop: Bringing Enthusiasts Together! GIVEAWAY @massdrop

You may have seen me post about Massdrop deals here before. In case you haven't yet discovered the many joys of Massdrop, I'll fill you in. Massdrop is an online community for (amazing) people like us. Enthusiasts, fans, pen addicts, everyday carry-ers, and more. It brings us together with the products we love and the manufacturers that deliver them, putting us all in one place. This platform allows us to get together to poll, vote, and organize group buys to get bulk pricing on things we really want. (Or really need. Why not both?)

There are different categories - everyday carry, audiophile, auto, coffee & tea, crafting, tech, writing, and more. Once it's decided what product you'd like, Massdrop goes to the vendor on behalf of the community. Each buy is called a "drop". Join a drop to get the goods, and enjoy lower prices on the things you love and passionately desire.

Something that appeals to me is the Leatherback Writer 2 by This is Ground, as it is leather, an everyday carry item, and something that protects my stationery. I love all-in-one things. The two colours depicted below (Whiskey and Bomber) and warm and ever so slightly rugged. There is also a black version, if you want to stick to the classics.

The Leatherback Writer 2 was designed and is handmade in Los Angeles. The cover is hand stitched, highlighting its simple and attractive design. The back is tastefully stamped with the This Is Ground logo. It's a functional carrier that looks good.

Inside, the Writer 2 reveals a slot to house your pocket-sized notebook (3.5" x 5.5"), one for your iPhone/smartphone, a little slot for your preferred writing utensil, and a snap closure to keep the bundle secure. There are a few days left to get in on this drop!

Wow - just signed up for Massdrop yesterday! So comment I will... I would like to see a review of the "Deep Dark" line of inks from Cult Pens - are they so mind-blowingly incredible that I should drop everything and get them shipped internationally?

I'm already a Massdrop-ee already, but I would love to see a review on TWSBI notebooks :)

I signed up for Massdrop back in May, to take advantage of an amazing deal on Pilot Parallels - and have participated in a couple of additional drops since then.

I'd love to see Massdrop offering a deal on pretty well any TWSBI pen (well, maybe not the Classic) - and/or a Franklin Christoph fountain pen. Not sure which of these you've already reviewed, Azizah - but feel free to take your pick!

I just signed up for Massdrop when you did a big post of links recently. Agreed with Rachael about the TWSBI notebooks!

I do have an account (thru my lifeimitatesdoodles gmail addy). TWSBI notebooks? I hadn't heard of those, so I join Rachael and Lindsay in asking for a review of them!

I'd love a massdrop of sketchbooks that are compatible with fountain pens... with reasonable shipping to Canada. >.> I can dream, right? I joined a while back through one of your tweets... And I'm game for reviews of pretty much any dot or blank paper books. :) And ink. All the inks.

I've been on Massdrop a while, but only recently have I gotten into fountain pens. As an editor of a student magazine, I would like to see some fountain pen friendly planners either reviewed or on Massdrop. I need all the help I can staying organized!

I just ordered something on Massdrop for the first time - a Pilot Falcon.

I'd like to see a review of a pen that I've lusted over for quite some time (and due its price, won't be able to afford for a long time): the Pilot Silvern.

I also opened a Massdrop account to join the Pilot Parallel deal back. A review of twsbi notebooks will be fine.
Thanks

I'd like to see a Kaweco massdrop of some sort. I need an excuse to get another one :)

I just joined the Lamy 2000 drop! Wouldn't mind a review of the Faber Castell Loom.

I would love to see a review of top 10 shading inks and Massdrop for Rhodia ice pad, as Singapore only have one shop in the whole island that sell them:(

A friend just bought a Lamy 2000 at a LPS (local pen store), and now I see I can get my own on Massdrop. What dod you think Azziza? Whee!

Im already a happy Massdrop customer, Im thrilled they've added the new writing category and are becoming so active in the writing community. I would love to see a Pilot Custom 74 or Heritage Custom 92 review and drop because I want both and that would help make my decision for me (who am I kidding, if both were drops I would buy them both)

I love the This Is Ground notebook! I already have an account on Mass drop, and I browsed the list of items. I thought that the Cordito and Charles pen wrap looks pretty good to be reviewed. Thanks for organizing this giveaway!

I too also have Massdrop account already... I would love to se you review the Karas Kustoms Ink and a cover/portfolio that fits a small writing table (i.e. ClarieFountaine Triomphe) a few envelopes, stamps, and a pen.

I have always wondered about the Edison pens and how they write. Have you done any reviews on them?

Lira said...

I'm already a Massdrop Member and I'd love to see you review a Hobonichi Planner. I hear they are FP friendly, but I'm worried about paper size and see through.

Im already at Massdrop, would love to see more alternative leather covers

I would like to see more leather covers as well. I am doing more journaling than I have in the past and would like to keep my different sized notebooks covered with nice uncommon items.
