I have a new Lamy 2000 that I love very much and I chose it over the Studio in part because the metal section of the Studio spooked me. Just so much smooth metal, and the Makralon finish has such great texture! But thanks for the vid and your thoughts.

Thanks again for the review. Just two comments: 1. focus was a little fuzzy on you (but good on the pen when you put it in front of the camera) - Surprisingly I like you guys so more focus please :-)
2. While I too like the occasional broad, I'm not sure the term is acceptable in polite society any more :-D

I have this pen (in that colour) and I love it. I bought it after I bought some cheaper fountain pens, so it was my first 'serious' one, even though it has the same nib as a Safari / Al-star. For me it made the difference between a 'toy-isn' pen (like the Safari / Al-star, and no offence meant, because those work great!) and something more special. I used it to sign wedding-registers etc after I got it. I know the design looks not so fabulous, however for me, it has a sort of timeless design. It doesn't look special, and also not very weird or offending. It does have this quirky clip :D
(and yes, the colour matters ;) )

I had to search a bit, and then found this: http://www.gourmetpens.com/2014/07/review-tombowusa-ippo-coiled-pencil.html
You did a review on the Tombow Pencil grips a while back. I keep several in my pen-pouch and they help a lot with slippery sections. I have more-than-normal-issues with holding sections so I really like to keep a few around and don't subscribe to the 'it should just work!' thing ;)

Ooooh I never thought of that! AMAZING.

You are part of the reason I got suckered into this color, you know. FROM THE PEN SHOW! ENABLER! I love the clip. So cool

LOL that's hilarious, spooked you. But agreed, the Makrolon finish is super neat.

Sorry!! This was recorded with a different camera - we did notice it couldn't focus on several things. We're still seeking the right camera/mic/lighting... it's tough though. Blah.
2. HAHA. I could live with broads forever.
