PROS
  • Beautiful, rich red.
  • Well-behaved ink - minimal bleedthrough and showthrough.
  • Good flow.
  • Looks amazing when used in a very wet nib.

CONS
  • I've heard from others this ink is a little dry and gives some nib creep. As a saturated red, nib creep isn't surprising, however, I haven't experienced that yet. Could be the nibs/pens used.
  • Bleeds like crazy with water contact.
OVERALL

Mmmm as soon as I saw this ink was being released, I knew I would have to try it. It's a beautiful, rich, warm red that looks outstanding in broad and/or wet nibs. Being a red, it requires proper cleaning, but it doesn't behave terribly and I love the color.

I have this ink too. Very nice red. Only complaint is that it seems to dry out in the feed after a few days of non use, at least in the Taccia Stacatta.

I really like this red. It reminds me a bit of Winter Glow.

I believe so, but so far, it doesn't seem scarce. Depends how long you want to wait, I guess :)

Yes! It does, which is one I've considered buying at outrageous prices lol

AND! Thank you for your parcel!!! Love the selection you sent :)

I've heard it was dry for someone else as well. I suspect you're right, it is dry, but it was okay in the pens I put it in - but I used it up pretty quickly. I think saturated reds can be on the dry side though.
