Review: Bombata Pen Pouches - Cocco Pink & Purple @AppelboomLaren

Okay... so I probably didn't need more pen pouches, but I also must admit I already have them stuffed. So in my defense, it seems I DID need more pen pouches. Note the subtle Bombata logo?

There is the crocodile and pebble leather design... I obviously couldn't pick one or the other.

Well done, well put together. No threads or stitches sticking out. That's a nice thing, right?

These pouches are made of imitation leather, in case you were worried it was crocodile leather! (If that freaks you out). They are small and rectangular, and malleable, but not floppy and soft. The zipper operates really easily and smoothly, and so far, has not snagged or gotten caught. The leather is pretty fun colored, and I actually think I prefer the pink Cocco pattern better than the regular purple. The zipper matches the color of the pouch, but the zipper pull is a bright, shiny chrome.

The inside has a smooth inside that is, so far, pretty easy to wipe out and clean. It's a darker inside so small pen and/or pencil marks don't show up too easily, although eventually, they will.

They are a good length and hold quite a bit of utensils - I have stuffed mine with a variety of gel pens, ballpoints, and rulers (because for some reason, one ruler isn't enough for me). I like that whether there is one or ten pens in the pouch, it sits upright and doesn't mush around.

As they have gotten older, I have found the material of the Cocco pink is cracking off at the corners and along the zipper in a few places. It hasn't happened to the purple case, fortunately. I guess it's because of how the material is put together and held in place. Although I prefer the fun design of the Cocco, the plain case is more sturdy for my constant use.

I really like the purple one, but I can see why the pink is appealing. Hope you and Stephen are ok!
