  • A pretty gorgeous color, I must say.
  • Great shading.
  • Intense sheen.

CONS
  • If you use this in a very wet pen, it can take a long time to dry. Even then, it may be smudgy.
  • Careful with cleaning - the intense color may stain.
  • Flowed normally but if it started to dry out, it became quite dry. Don't let it dry out!

OVERALL

I love exploring new inks and ink brands. This is my first experience with Krishna Inks. I enjoy the color quite a bit and I think the price is reasonable. This one is really fun for hand lettering and calligraphy work (not that I'm any good, but it's fun). I did have some issues with drying. With regular writing, the drying times were acceptable but with inky messes/splats/artwork, the sheen remained smudgy. Most people would probably not use an ink in that way but I'm just putting that warning out there. I found it a little messy for cleaning because it is quite saturated. I didn't stain the sink or granite, at least. Quite a fun color to play with! As with most inks, it looks best with wetter, broader writers.

This is a sponsored post. Krishna Inks is compensating me for my time and efforts. I will remain as unbiased as I possibly can, I promise. I received this item free of charge for the purposes of this review.
