PACKAGING
Review: Cute Two Q-12 Snowhite Violet Fountain Pen - Medium
The Snowhite arrived in a simple cardboard and plastic packaging. It doesn't do much to protect the pen, but the pen is sturdy enough, being made of plastic. The packaging isn't in English, so I can't tell you what's on it! However, it is recyclable, so at least I don't have to debate whether to keep it or not. I like as little packaging as possible, or very useful packaging.

APPEARANCE
Review: Cute Two Q-12 Snowhite Violet Fountain Pen - Medium
The Cute Two Q-12 Snowhite fountain pen looks a lot like...well, the Pilot Petit1 fountain pen. Imitation is a form of flattery, right? The violet pen is all plastic, with a clear cap, a violet plastic top and clip, and a translucent violet body. The feed is violet to match the body.
Review: Cute Two Q-12 Snowhite Violet Fountain Pen - Medium
The center band has the pen name and model written on it in white. Inside, the supplied cartridge is violet. It's also a little warped and weird, but it fit into the pen. The cap has little ridges on it to secure it when posted.

NIB & PERFORMANCE
Review: Cute Two Q-12 Snowhite Violet Fountain Pen - Medium
The nib is a plain steel nib that, once again, very much resembles the Pilot Petit1 fountain pen nib. It has some writing on it but I don't know what it says. It's a cute little nib that matches the body well.

I didn't flush the pen, just popped in the cartridge. As soon as the feed was saturated, the pen wrote really well. I was really impressed and really pleased with the performance of the nib. It is a nice medium, even for what a Japanese nib (assuming it is Japanese made, at least). The ink flow is nice and steady. What is interesting about either the ink or the nib is that the ink dried almost instantly once it hit the page, even on Rhodia. It was like writing with a fine liner pen. The nib also had no line variation whatsoever - hard as a nail. But it flows well and writes well, which is the whole point of the pen!

IN HAND

This is where the pen differs a little from the Pilot Petit1 fountain pen. The Pilot pen has a more secure posting mechanism for the lid. This lid has to be pushed on very hard to stay in place, and even then, when it rubs on the web of my thumb, it can wiggle off. If it isn't posted deeply enough, it could just fall off. It's a small pen so if you have larger hands, it may be difficult to write with without being able to post it. For me, I can manage with it unposted. Posted, unless you can keep it securely posted, it'll probably be too small.

However, it's light and comfortable. There's nothing sharp or bothersome on it. It's the same size as the Petit1 fountain pens.

PROS & CONS
Review: Cute Two Q-12 Snowhite Violet Fountain Pen - Medium
OVERALL

This pen is pretty much the same as the Pilot Petit1 fountain pen. Given the price point being similar to that of the Petit1, and that they have the same features aside from the Petit1 having a fine nib and the Snowhite having a medium nib, they're about the same. They have similar colour options and sizes. If you prefer a medium nib, then you could always try out the Snowhite instead of the Petit1. Otherwise, the Petit1 is easier to get.

Review: @CoolPencilCase Sentimental Circus Bookmark Clips - Shappo

Oh yeah, just some more cute stuff. Cool Pencil Case sent one of these adorable Sentimental Circus Bookmark Clips of Shappo for me to review. Thanks!
IMG_3928
This bookmark clip is about 4.5" long so it is pretty big in hand! At least in my hand anyway. It is a soft vinyl material so it's malleable and easy to clean. The paper clip is coated so it doesn't snag on paper and tear it. It'll be easy to spot in your books or notebooks, which is a nice thing. You can use the clip to hold together papers, bookmark pages of a book, or just attach them on your bag because they're pretty adorable.

I use mine to bookmark my journal. I hate flipping through my (many) journals to find what page I was on last. Therefore, that is Shappo's job!

There are four Sentimental Circus Bookmark Clips to choose from. If you have some semblance of self control, you could just pick one for $3.25USD.

Review: @CoolPencilCase Mamegoma Notepad Set + Mini Erasers

Um, if mini erasers didn't catch your attention already, perhaps the picture of them will get you.
IMG_3957
Ok, sometimes you need a little piece of paper to scribble a note on to give to someone, or just to tuck into your pocket to remember something, or into your purse. Whatever the case is, sometimes you need to write something down. And sometimes you want something really cute to write it on.

Review: @CoolPencilCase Sentimental Circus Tab Set

Oh, I'm sorry. Did you think I was done with cute things? NEVERRRRR!! This here is the Sentimental Circus Tab Set from Cool Pencil Case. Specifically, this is the "Behind The Curtains" set.
IMG_3946
July 15 - 16. 2013 - iPhone 046
What exactly is this tab set? They are page markers or page flags, not unlike Post-Its, but if I do say, they are much cuter, aren't they? Each tab is approximately 2 inches (50 mm) long and .5 inch (15 mm) wide, so they aren't very large.
IMG_3949 I use mine as page markers in my Filofax. They are small enough that they don't stick out too far and get destroyed (one of my most hated things is ragged page markers). The tab set itself is also small enough that it can fit into my Filofax so it's always at hand when I need it. Perfect.

These are the perfect size for school - they'll tuck into your binder or pencil case. Although I'm pretty sure everyone you know will try to steal them. So be careful.

Pick up one of each set of these Sentimental Circus Tab Sets for $4.25USD each!

Review: @CoolPencilCase Sentimental Circus Showtime Scented Eraser

It's hard to review something this ridiculously cute. Because you don't want to use it. So guess what? I DID NOT. That's right. So it's not really a review. It's more of an analysis of sorts... I have a totally valid reason for this. And that's because I have reviewed this very adorable and very similar eraser: Mamegoma Adventure Eraser + Mini Eraser.
Sentimental Circus Showtime Scented Erasers
Let me just present you with this adorable evidence and you can ask yourself: do I really care if it erases 100%? I will answer for you: no you do not. It is beyond adorable. So there.
Sentimental Circus Showtime Scented Erasers
This eraser comes in a sweet little sleeve decorated with Sentimental Circus characters. Inside, there is a tiny, tiny adorable mini eraser. I haven't quite figured out what it is yet but I have no desire to use it. I intend to store its perfection in my heart forever.

@CoolPencilCase Mamegoma Friendship Stickers

Stickers. An associated addiction with pens. I might be a tiny bit insane about them. Just a tiny bit. But barely. And that's not even a half of them. Not even a third. Not even a quarter, really. Nevertheless, I added to my collection, after spending too much time on CoolPencilCase's new arrivals section.
@CoolPencilCase Mamegoma Friendship Stickers
These are the Mamegoma Friendship Stickers, in the "Snacks and Games" theme. They're just so cute. Pen pals can expect these on their letters... when I eventually bring myself to part with them. It'll happen, I promise.
@CoolPencilCase Mamegoma Friendship Stickers
I don't even know what they are, really. Tiny happy chubby ice cream plops? Seals? Coloured seals? I don't know. Want some for yourself? Yes you do. They're only $2.65USD. That's less than a Starbucks. They don't taste as good, but they're far cuter.

Review: @CoolPencilCase Lovable Animal Sticky Note Tabs - Strawberry Bunny

These adorable strawberry bunny lovable animal sticky note tabs are from CoolPencilCase! Possibly the home of all the cutest things ever.
CoolPencilCase Lovable Animal Sticky Note Tabs
They're small and sticky. And have happy little bunny faces and hands, holding strawberries. I'm not sure how much more I can describe this to you. They can be removed and reapplied a few times if you should wish, but they're not extremely sticky.
CoolPencilCase Lovable Animal Sticky Note Tabs
For $3.25, it's hard to say no to these. And there's other designs that are very, very hard to resist. They're just so cute. They're easy to pop into your pencil case - of which there are no shortage of at CoolPencilCase.Or your binders, folders, whatever you carry around - daily planner, maybe? Perfect for that. That's where mine are stored - in my Filofax.

No affiliate links, but I was provided these adorable sticky notes for review. I was not compensated monetarily. All opinions are my own.

Review: Pilot Juice 0.5mm Apple Green & 0.38mm Apricot Orange Gel Pens

Courtesy of our newest sponsor, the newest gel pen to be released by Pilot comes for review from JStationery. Thanks guys! The gel pen in question is the adorable, aptly named Pilot Juice. This is a 0.5 mm Pilot Juice in apple green. The 0.38 mm is a Pilot Juice in apricot orange.
Pilot Juice Gel Pens
APPEARANCE

The Pilot Juice is just about my dream gel ink pen body. At first glance, it just looks like a regular gel pen. From afar, it's not unlike the Zebra Sarasa or Pilot G2, with a few different features on it, a slightly different shape. But up close, I heart it. The apple green is a lime green to yellow green blend. The apricot orange is...well...apricot orange. I love both colours. The whole body is slightly torpedo shaped. The grip, top of the clip, the knocker, and the ink is all colour-matched. The barrel is clear plastic so you can see your ink supply (a feature I love). The clip is spring loaded and is a matte plastic, aside from the adorable part that is apple
green and says Pilot Juice in cute writing.
Pilot Juice Cilps
There is also a little hole at the top of the clip so you can hang the pen from a lanyard or attach it to your notebook. Coolness. The grip is quite long and has little circles for added texture. It's not squishy but is rubbery for comfortable grip. The pen is very pretty - cheery and cute. I really like it.
Pilot Juice & Pilot Hi-Tec-C
WRITING

Both tips write instantly - no scribbling required to get them flowing, which is nice. I often find needlepoint-type gel pens require scribbling to get the ink flowing, whereas these conical-shaped tips often flow immediately. Both tips are quite fine and the 0.38mm apricot orange is slightly scratchy on paper. Both sizes are true sizes. Good and accurate!
Pilot Juice Lines
While I really, really like these pens because they're just adorable and comfortable to hold and write with, I am disappointed that the apple green and apricot orange are too light. These two particular colours are so light, they are hardly legible. I imagine the black, brown, etc, will be much more legible.
Pilot Juice Writing Sample
VERY FAST drying time. Low wetness. Water resistance - colour will bleed a little but will remain legible.
Compared to the Pilot Coleto's apple green and apricot orange, they're far lighter. I prefer the Coleto's colours for day-to-day writing as it is more legible. I have no problem using the Juice colours for decorating my planner and highlighting things and such, however I cannot use these two particular colours for things I must read easily. It's hard to see.
Pilot Juice Color Comparison
PROS

The Pilot Juice has special ink that is both waterproof and fade resistant. Hallelujah! That was the one thing my beloved Hi-Tec-Cs was missing! They were not waterproof! Alas, the Juice has swooped in and saved the day.
Pilot Juice Water Resistance
An awesome thing about these already cool pens is they come in THIRTY colours. WOW. Thank you Pilot for not skimping on the colours!! Just like the gorgeous assortment of Pilot Hi-Tec-Cs, the Juices are too. Apricot orange, baby pink, coffee brown, grape, dark red... lovely. I would love to have them all.

They are available in 0.5 mm and 0.38 mm, to satisfy everyone.

CONS

These two colours are hard to read because the ink colours are so light. But that's all. And there are a bajillion other colours to pick from if you want to take notes with these, or write letters.

OVERALL

I think the Pilot Juice pens are great - great shape, comfort, design, and price. I would steer clear of these two colours if you intend to use these for writing exclusively. If you intend to decorate your snail mail or homework or anything else that does not require you to read the writing, these pens (and light colours) will be great and lots of fun. Otherwise, your poor eyeballs will be straining to read the writing. You should pick a darker colour if you want to try one, just to be sure. Then you can venture into the lighter colours!

Don't forget you can get free standard shipping on US orders for any dollar amount, it doesn't have to be over $20! Of course, if you spend $20, you get free shipping anyway. Check out this post for the coupon code!

JStationery - $1.60

These Pilot Juice gel pens were sent for review by Jstationery free of charge for the purpose of this review. I was not compensated monetarily. All opinions here are my own, wholehearted, honest opinions!
