Kickstarter: InTuition Carbon Fiber & Titanium Pen/Stylus

Ok. That title is a mouthful. And the pen is a badass handful yo.

Pen with Words 640 x 480 Resized for Kickstarter
Look at itttt!

The InTuition - A Carbon Fiber Pen/Stylus for the Hi-Tec-C Refill

A combination pen & tablet stylus made from Titanium & Carbon Fiber that uses the Pilot Hi-Tec-C refill.
I have a thing for carbon fiber and yet I own nothing carbon fiber-y. Except my laptop. Which I "borrowed" from my poor dad. But no writing utensils that are carbon fiber. I also need a stylus, because I do not have the required dexterity to be precise on my iPod Touch. And I really don't want to text something inappropriate to my poor sweet Mom.

FYI. This isn't just a carbon fiber shell over a metal-frame pen. That would be disappointing. This is an honest-to-grapes carbon fiber pen. It's lightweight and serious about its business.

The InTuition takes Hi-Tec-C refills, which gives you a plethora of options in terms of tip sizes and colors. You can even have a bunch of refills for your moods!

It's easy to swap the refills via the threaded insert and cap. And it looks pretty awesome while being a refilling station, doesn't it?

The other side of the InTuition offers that awesome little nub of a Wacom stylus - available in both firm or soft. Wacom refills are readily available as well. The Wacom nib provides a very responsive feel, thus both ends of the InTuition are great choices!

The metal cap can fit on either end of the pen, secured by the little O-rings you see in the previous pictures.

Sspread the word folks! Pledges are available in two quantities - $65 for a limited number of backers, then it goes up to $80, so get in there ASAP! Check out the Kickstarter project and please share away!

Funding ends December 29, 2012. It's a great Christmas/holiday gift idea! Or you can just treat yo' self. And Tom says:
Let me know if this is a gift, and if it looks like the project will be fully funded, I'll send you a glossy photo card so you'll have something to put under the tree.
Perfect. Let's get this funded. I kind of want the photo anyway. It's like pen porn.
