Versatile Blogger Awards

A looong time ago (shamefully long, really), I was awarded a Versatile Blogger Award by Julie on her In Pursuit of a Hidden Artist blog. You may also know her from her other blog - Pens Paper Inks...Whatever! This is a huge honor coming from someone as awesome as Julie - so thank you very much Julie!!

When I first received the award (in November 2011...), I really didn't know many blogs that hadn't already received the award, or who weren't already on Julie's list. Many months later, my blog discoveries have grown exponentially - and I am really happy it has because I've discovered amazing blogs and really great people. Now it's my turn to award some of my favorite reads with the Versatile Blogger Award! This is actually really tough because there's probably like 100 blogs I'd like to mention. I'm pretty sure for every blog I list, you're going to be wondering, "Why weren't these nominated already?" Without further ado (and in no particular order)...
Rules for The Versatile Bloggers Award
  • Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog.
  • Share seven facts about yourself.
  • Send the award on to fifteen other bloggers whose blogs you appreciate and  let them know that they have been given the award. You are not allowed to give the award to any of the blogs that are awarded together with you.

Seven Things About Me (this took me forever)

1. I hate thin socks and the way tiled and hard carpeted floors feel through the sock on my feet.
2. I like having a variety of toothpastes. There are currently four in my drawer that get rotated.
3. I don't have cable. I survive on Netflix. (Which has way better shows than most of the crap on TV now anyway. Like Wonder Years.)
4. I started University when I was 16. (Bad idea.)
5. I used to be a swimmer and I was always terrified of the lane markers in the pools. They're like sharks. Following me. To kill me.
6. I was born in Trinidad (& Tobago).
7. I am super duper awesome at Minesweeper. And I can type 130 wpm (with accuracy!). These are my only talents in life.

I guess that was technically 8. I couldn't eliminate any because these are all MUST-KNOWS. I found this to be thoroughly enjoyable so I hope you winners keep it going!

Thanks again to Julie for selecting me as one of the recipients :)
