Mailbox Goodies: JetPens, Ink & Tape

My mailbox was a happy chap this week again! I have a few goodies from a few places this week. Not too long ago, I won a giveaway on Instagram that Notemaker held for some washi tape so now I have these pretty new tapes to add to my collection! Thank you Notemaker!
Notemaker Washi Tape Win
I picked up a few inks at Goldspot Pens because I had a $10 gift card that I had to ... um.... use up... yes... before it um... expired... and I really wanted to get the Pelikan Edelstein 2013 Ink of the Year (Amber), and I figured oh... I may as well get free shipping at $50... so I got the other two inks as well.

And at JetPens, I FINALLY got myself a Kaweco ICE Sport in hot pink - FINALLY. Can you believe I waited so long? As well as my very first Sailor fountain pen. I also acquired a few of the just restocked Brause Rose nibs... let's see if I can actually figure out how to use them!

More ink?? It is really pretty, I totally understand. I want one of those Kaweco Ice Sport pens, too. Congrats on the washi tape win, I love washi tape.

LOL I know, I know. I have issues. In my defense, flex pens use a lot of ink...... and um... uhhhh... that's all I had to defend myself with hee hee! The Kaweco is ADORABLE! I have a Liliput so I wasn't thinking the ICE Sport would be so cute BUT IT IS!

SO ADDICTIVE. Even though I have this, now I'm like 'oh.. I need MOAR!' but I really don't. But I do.

Yay, pink Kaweco Sport team hi5! o/*\o Seriously, you're gonna LOVE that little pen. Did you get the clip w/ it? I didn't and have regretted it ever since hahah.

And what is the color of the Sailor? Looks lovely. Do want.

And Sky High is still high on my ink wishlist :) (whenever I place a Goulet Order again, it'll include this ink)

My problem exactly.

Just. Can't. Decide.

I didn't get the clip - lately I've been in a clipless phase hehe. The Sailor is (somewhat shamefully) Sky High again. I was using my other bottle up like crazy and I realized I needed to have a second on hand so I wouldn't run out. Goldspot has it in stock... :)

How do you like the Kaweco Sport so far??

It's quite nice. It's a lot cuter than I was expecting. I hate the blue cartridge that came with it though... hate it. The broad nib is quite nice - needed a flushing before using it.But it's really very cute and small. Wish I had picked it up sooner :) Need the converter...

I jumped on the clear candy pens that had the Sailor "anchor" logo on the cap. They're called the hallmark variety. But the nibs on these are very fine. Too fine to my liking. I ground them using 12000 grit paper to get them a bit broader but still no dice. Then I switched to Kaweco Ice sports with "BB" nibs and I'm quite happy.
I have all Sailor J. Epinard inks in my ice sports and they are quite.. what's the word? SPORTY, that's it..

I've got the Epinard in the green ice sport, ultra marine in the blue, grenade in the pink and jentle black in the classic clear demonstrator, all with 'BB' nibs and i'm liking it pretty good!

Thanks for the post, I'm glad you're enjoying your kaweco sport. They have such nice nibs, and very affordable.

My bad, I didn't specify, I was asking about the color of the Sailor Clear Candy pen :) Of course I recognized Sky High ;) (I've read so many reviews and looked at it online so much lol)
