Mailbox Goodies & Associated Addictions

Umm...okay so I thought last week's mailbox goodies was epic, but this week's post is going to be even longer. And maybe there's less wins than there are buys, but there were also some surprises and treats. Without further ado...

Win #1 - Rafflecopter stickers!
Rafflecopter stickers
Well. You all know how I feel about stickers
Win #2 - I won (on a winning streak, apparently) a Zebra Airfit Jell pen at East...West...Everywhere! This is such a great, comfortable pen!

The "airfit" grip is superb.
CoolPencilCase.com sent this awesome, generous parcel of things for reviewing and sharing so keep your eyes peeled for these adorable goodies in the near future!

Cute overload.
My sweet husband read my beginner's fountain pens post, and saw in the comments that a Reform 1745 pen was suggested and he thought I should have one of these, as they are no longer made. So he hunted this cutie down for me.

Review to come!!
Last year, Groupon offered something like 15 promo codes on Twitter for $20 of Groupon credit and I leaped at the chance to get it because who wouldn't, right? Both Kevin and I got $20 credit in our accounts. Then, a few weeks ago, I saw that Jerry's Artarama in Austin had a Groupon for $40 of stuff for $20... so we bought two. Therefore, I had $80 to spend at Jerry's that cost me nothing. Um... that's epic. We went today and I spent a good while trying to pick things while being somewhat reasonable.
The whole Jerry's pile:
Jerry's Artarama Stuff
This was a blast.
Maruman Lifetime notebooks in three different colors! Smooth, velvety paper and pretty colors. Great for calligraphy practice, I think.

I should have bought a purple as well.
The Speedball brush was on clearance for $1.00. I have no idea what it is or how to use it but I thought it might be fun to try out. The misting bottle is for experimenting with the Derwent Inktense I picked up a few weeks ago. And of course, some Copics and a Sakura Pigma Micron.
Jerry's Close ups
Some close ups.

So pretty!
Ink
Pearlescent and pretty.
These pretty inks will be used in my dad's old set of Rotring pens.
Jerry's Close ups
I figured these are more fun than plain black.
Rotring
My mom and dad bought me these WICKED socks. Oh. My. God. They are so fun.
Socks
An associated addiction, I guess.
Socks
Note that in the top set, none of the socks match.
Socks
Awesome.

Those bunny stickers are the cutest!
That's some aweosome loot. Let us know how the Daler&Rowney inks work, please, these are not available in my country and I've been forever on the fence about ordering them from the States :)

Yes, the bunny stickers rock! As a Bunny Mama I think I'm going to need to buy some. Do you happen to have the item number for them?

Love your F&W inks. I use mine in mixed media projects - they make great background washes! :o)

I will let you know how they work out! I have sampled the marine blue with a Speedball dip nib and I REALLY like it so far. I'll do a work up soon of these!

Aww you have a bunny?? I used to have bunnies too :) Here's the link to the stickers, and you just have to select "trendy rabbit" from the drop down menu: http://www.coolpencilcase.com/Kawaii_Design_Sticker_Collection_p/d2107.htm

I played with the FW inks today... WOW are they ever gorgeous and very easy to work with (for amateurs like myself)!

I have been wanting to try the Maruman notebooks. Can you tell me are these regular lined sheets? The description I found at Jerry's listed them as ruled graphing paper. I really appreciate the information!!

Hi Amy! Thanks for stopping by and commenting :) All of the notebooks I got here are regular lined sheets but perhaps the stock on their website is different than my particular local store.
